Craigeanie Farmhouse is part of Slatich Farm, a sheep farm close to the hamlet of Camusvrachan, and is situated towards the eastern end of Glen Lyon, 3.5 miles from the charming hamlet of Bridge of Balgie, renowned for its quaint tea rooms and post office.
Despite the tranquil 'away from it all' environment, the nearby town of Aberfeldy (19 miles to the south) provides most daily requirements, with banks, medical services, a small supermarket, bakeries, art galleries and antique shops. By prior arrangement ASDA provide a full supermarket delivery service. You can also visit Macdonald Bros. of Aberfeldy (the family once lived in Craigeanie Farmhouse) at www.macdonald-bros.co.uk, choose and order from their range of quality meat, game and fish and they will have it ready for you to collect on your way to Craigeanie Farmhouse.
There are popular country hotels and restaurants in the area, including the Ardeonaig Hotel on Loch Tay, the Fortingall Hotel and bar (seven miles), the Coutyard Restaurant in Kenmore and Ailean Chraggan, and Weem Hotel in Weem.
